Jamie Sziisz has been in the world of hair for years. Graduating from MJ Murphy School of Cosmetology in Midland, Michigan. She then went on to become a platform artist for multiple companies such as Aveda, TIGI, Graham Webb, to name a few. With continued education at Rusk Academy in Hollywood, she later received a Master's in Haircuts and Color from Graham Webb Academy in Washington, D.C. where she also created an apprenticeship program. Jamie has spent the last 32 years opening multiple successful salons in Oregon. Educating with many of the top stylists in the hair industry to train over 120 in-house stylists, teaching specific haircuts using different techniques. From dry cutting, long hair, razor cuts, sharp edges, men's fades, curly hair to fine hair. Her goal is to connect with each client according to their hair needs. To take time to listen, work properly, and make beautiful creations. Most importantly, her desire is to make people happy. Recently, Jamie moved back to Michigan and is excited to open her new salon "Back to my Rootz Hair Artistry" ~ located in her hometown of Gladwin.
